The professional-grade, portable UV light engineered to unlock the full potential of your EntoCam trap.

Your Moth Trap Is Only as Good as Its Light Source

Inconsistent Results?

Generic black lights, heavy MV bulbs, and DIY solutions produce inconsistent results and are cumbersome to transport. A great moth trap needs an equally great light.

Powerful, Adjustable Attraction

The EntoCam Beam is an engineered insect attracting light. Its optimized combination of wavelengths 367 nm (UVA), 458 nm (Blue), 525 nm (green), and cool white 5700K draws in a wider diversity of species

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Beam a superior light for a moth trap?

The Beam has been designed with durability in mind. It uses high-quality LEDs and a separate electronic circuit for each LED, and features a waterproof and lightweight package. This makes the light very reliable even in harsh conditions.

Can I use the EntoCam Beam with a trap that isn't the EntoCam?

Yes, you can. We recommend using a 12V/24V, 3A AC-DC converter to use it in a wall power outlet or any 12V battery with a minimum of 3A output.

Is this better than a standard black light for insects?

Using LED instead of blacklight is about 2x more effective, meaning that for the same power drawn, you will get twice the lumens emitted.

How does the Beam improve the effectiveness of my moth trap?

In most mith camera traps, the light accounts for more than 95% of the power drawn. This is why it is preferable to have an efficient light system.
